Reporting Sexual Violence

The Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS) at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara is a dedicated unit established to implement efforts in preventing and addressing sexual violence within the campus community.

The key duties and responsibilities of Satgas PPKS include:

  1. Sexual Violence Prevention:

Designing and implementing programs aimed at preventing sexual violence, such as awareness campaigns, training sessions, educational workshops, and other initiatives to increase awareness and reduce incidents of sexual violence within the UMN campus environment.

  1. Victim Support Services:

Providing assistance and support to UMN students who are victims of sexual violence. This includes access to medical care, counseling services, legal protection, and psychosocial rehabilitation. Satgas PPKS may collaborate with medical institutions, non-governmental organizations, and other relevant agencies to ensure comprehensive victim support.

  1. Reporting and Investigation Assistance:

Offering information and guidance to UMN students on reporting procedures, facilitating access to appropriate authorities, and ensuring that victims receive protection and fair treatment throughout any legal or disciplinary processes.

  1. Coordination and Advocacy:

Collaborating with governmental bodies, civil society organizations, and private sector stakeholders to strengthen protection systems, advocate for victim-centered policies, and improve responses to sexual violence cases.

The primary objective of Satgas PPKS is to safeguard UMN students from sexual violence, provide the necessary support for survivors, and foster positive social change regarding protection against sexual violence. Through comprehensive prevention and response measures, Satgas PPKS strives to create a safe and respectful campus environment free from sexual violence.
