Rectorate Welcome Address

Welcome, Students of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN)! We hope that you will achieve all your aspirations through a series of learning experiences at UMN. Make UMN your “second home,” where you feel comfortable and at ease, supported by academic and non-academic facilities that will greatly contribute to your success in pursuing knowledge.

To provide support and guidance to students, UMN has established a dedicated Student Engagement Division, which consists of six subdivisions: Student Development, Student Services, Student Support, Career Development Centre, Scholarship, and Alumni Relations. Each subdivision has its own distinct roles and responsibilities. More detailed information can be found on the Student Affairs website.

The Student Affairs Division is committed to supporting and serving students, particularly in developing soft skills. An excellent student is expected to possess not only hard skills (technical abilities) but also strong soft skills. One of the indicators of soft skill development is the accumulation of SKKM points (Student Activity Credit Units).

One of the key points highlighted in UMN’s vision is to produce graduates with noble character. This means UMN graduates are not only academically competent but also possess strong personal character, reflected in the five core values of UMN: Caring, Credible, Competent, Competitive, and Customer Delight, collectively known as the 5Cs.

Finally, I would like to congratulate you and wish you great success during your journey at UMN.
