HIMSI (Information Systems Student Association) is a platform for students to channel their aspirations, ideas, and creativity as the next generation of innovators. HIMSI was initially established in 2007, coinciding with the first intake of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara students, originally named DISC (D’Information System Community). DISC served as the very first student association (HMJ) for the Information Systems program, known as the “Zero Generation.” In 2010, DISC changed its name to HIMSI (Himpunan Mahasiswa Sistem Informasi), and in 2011, DISC officially adopted the new name, designation, and logo as HIMSI.
The vision of HIMSI is to become a solid, synergistic student organization that fully contributes to uniting the Information Systems Student Body (KBM SI) while upholding the principles of professionalism and a strong sense of family.
